Now that 2017 is coming to an in depth, it’s a good time to take a seat back and take stock of how the last 12 months have affected your long run plans, and what the New Year will maintain. By the time January 1st comes spherical, many of us are making half-baked resolutions about going to the gym extra and cutting down on smoking.
There’s been a rising pattern in the previous few years to downsize our living space, an idea that is usually exhausting to grasp for myself and other American’s. As far as cost per sq. foot goes, it is really cheaper to build a larger dwelling, so why not have the extra area? Personally I love having more room in my house, but usually the additional room will get stuffed up with junk I don’t need, and my household and I find yourself residing beyond our means (which means charging necessities like fuel and groceries to our bank cards each month).
A few months in the past I began sketching out an idea for slightly three dimensional knitted house. I wished it to be tiny….small enough to be a hanging ornament for Christmas. From the sketch, I estimated how many stitches, what number of rows of knitting, and so forth. I cast on stitches utilizing some very, very outdated worsted weight yarn. It took a few tries to find the best stitch choice to make the bottom stay flat and the right variety of stitches and rows to have visually interesting proportions.
